MICHAEL SPYRES | DIE WALKÜRE | VIENNA

Capping an exceptionally busy month in Vienna, Michael Spyres takes on one of Wagner’s defining tenor roles. On May 25 and June 7, 2026, he sings Siegmund in Die Walküre under Pablo Heras-Casado, alongside Simone Schneider (Sieglinde), Günther Groissböck (Hunding), Michael Volle (Wotan), and Camilla Nylund (Brünnhilde), in a production by Sven-Eric Bechtolf. These performances follow his appearances in L’elisir d’amore and Der Rosenkavalier at the same house.
