Michael Spyres at the Grafenegg “Summer Night Gala”

On June 19, 2025, Michael Spyres takes part in the Grafenegg Sommernacht-Gala, performing alongside mezzo-soprano Siphokazi Molteno, with esteemed pianist Rudolf Buchbinder also featured on the program. Fabien Gabel will conduct the Tonkünstler-Orchester Niederösterreich.

The acclaimed American baritenor once again showcases his extraordinary versatility, performing signature baritone repertoire such as Figaro’s aria from “Il barbiere di Siviglia”, alongside the quintessential tenor showpiece “Nessun dorma” from Turandot. His program also includes Agustín Lara’s passionate “Granada” and Massenet’s heartrending  “Pourquoi me réveiller” from Werther. From the same opera, he will be joined by Ms Molteno for the emotionally charged duet “N’achevez pas! Hélas!”
