On June 4, 2023, Michael Spyres sings the role of Gerontius in Edward Elgar’s “The Dream of Gerontius” with Sir Mark Elder leading the Hallé at the Bridgewater Hall Manchester. Mezzo-soprano Alice Coote as The Angel and bass Neal Davies as Priest/Angel of Agony complete the cast.
