Michael Spyres and Il Pomo d’Oro in Essen and Lisbon

Michael Spyres joins forces with Il Pomo d’Oro for two concerts entitled “Tenore Assoluto” on February 27 and March 1 at the Theater und Philharmonie Essen and the Gulbenkian Music Lisbon. The program includes dazzling virtuoso arias from G.F. Handel’s “Tamerlano” and “Thedora”, Vivaldi’s “Artabano, re de’Parti”, Galuppi’s “Alessandro nell’Indie”, Latilla’s “Siroe, re di Persia”, Rameau’s “Naïs”, Porpora’s “Germanico in Germania”, Sarro’s “Achille in Sciro”, Hasse’s “Arminio”, and Mazzoni’s “Antigono”.
