Krzysztof Lachman as Alessandro in “Poro” in Krakow

On February 14, 2026, at Łaźnia Nowa in Kraków, Krzysztof Lachman sings the role of “Alessandro in Poro, re delle Indie” with Capella Cracoviensis, conducted by Alessandro Tampieri. Staged by Marcin Chlanda as part of the Opera Rara season, the production also features Rafał Tomkiewicz in the title role, Dorota Szczepańska as Cleofide, Margarita Slepakova as Erissena, Przemysław Józef Bałka as Timagene, and Franko Klisović as Gandarte.

Born in Kraków, Lachman is rapidly establishing himself on the operatic scene and has already won over audiences in his native city, notably in the title role of Rossini’s “Aureliano in Palmira”.
