Katarina Bradić in Matthias Pintscher’s Nuit sans aube (Das kalte Herz) at the Opéra-Comique, Paris

Katarina Bradić sings the Mother in Nuit sans aube, the French version of Das kalte Herz, Matthias Pintscher’s fourth opera. She created the role at the world premiere in German on January 11, 2026, at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden in Berlin, and now reprises it for the French premiere at the Opéra-Comique.

The libretto is by Daniel Arkadij Gerzenberg, with the French translation by Catherine Fourcassié. The Paris performances retain the same production by James Darrah.

The cast includes Evan Hughes, Marie-Adeline Henry, Katarina Bradić, Catherine Trottmann, Julie Robard-Gendre, and Hélène Alexandridis. Performances take place on March 11, 13, 15, and 17.
