Katarina Bradić returns to the title role of Bernard Foccroulle’s “Cassandra—set to a libretto by Matthew Jocelyn—in a production by Marie-Eve Signeyrole, with Anja Bihlmaier conducting. She leads a distinguished cast featuring Jessica Niles as Sandra, Susan Bickley as Hecuba/Victoria, Sarah Defrise as Naomi, Valdemar Villadsen as Blake, Joshua Hopkins as Apollo/Angry Audience Member, Gidon Saks as Priam/Alexander, and Sandrine Mairesse as Stage Manager/Marjorie.

The Serbian mezzo-soprano created the role of Cassandra at its world premiere at La Monnaie Brussels in 2023, an interpretation

praised for its emotional depth and vocal authority. Performances take place on June 19 (premiere), 22, 25, and July 3 and 7.
