Kangmin Justin Kim as Medoro in “Orlando” in Kraków

On February 3, 2026, at ICE Kraków Congress Centre, Hall S2, Kangmin Justin Kim sings the role of Medoro in George Frideric Handel’s “Orlando” with Capella Cracoviensis, conducted by Thibault Noally. He joins a notable cast that includes Tim Mead in the title role, Joanna Sojka as Angelica, Julia Pliś as Dorinda, and Nicolas Brooymans as Zoroastro.

 

One of today’s leading countertenors, Kangmin Justin Kim is active in Baroque, Classical, and contemporary repertoire, and is especially renowned for his Handel interpretations. His Handel repertoire includes Ruggiero in “Alcina” and Sesto in “Giulio Cesare”, roles he has performed at major international venues. He will return to Sesto later this season for his debut at the Zurich Opera House.
