John Irvin makes London Philharmonic debut with “La damnation de Faust”

On February 4, 2023, John Irvin will debut with the London Philharmonic Orchestra as Faust in a concert performance of Berlioz’s “La damnation de Faust” conducted by Edward Gardner at the Royal Festival Hall. Irvin has previously performed the piece at several venues such as the Deutsche Oper Berlin (conducted by Donald Runnicles) and the Opéra de Nice (conducted by John Nelson), as well as together with the Helsinki Radio Symphony Orchestra (conducted by Hanna Lintu) and the Orchestre National des Pays de la Loire (conducted by Pascal Rophé).
