Federico Fiorio returns to the Theater an der Wien as Fraarte in a concert performance of Handel’s “Radamisto” on November 6 at 7 p.m. Benjamin Bayl conducts the Wrocław Baroque Orchestra, with Max Emanuel Cencic in the title role, Fanny Lustaud as Zenobia, Dennis Orellana as Tigrane, Katrīna Paula Felsberga as Polissena, Zachary Wilson as Tiridate, and Timothy Edlin as Farasmane.
The Italian male soprano made his highly praised Theater an der Wien debut earlier this year as Darío in Christof Loy’s production of Pablo Luna’s “Benamor.” His Handel performances also include Sesto in “Giulio Cesare” at the Salzburg Festival and Bellezza in “Il trionfo del Tempo e del Disinganno” at the Aldeburgh Festival. Federico Fiorio will sing Fraarte again with the Wrocław Baroque Orchestra at the National Forum of Music in Wrocław on January 23, 2027.
