Beth Taylor in Elgar’s “Sea Pictures” with the St. Cecilia Orchestra in Ripon

On March 22, 2025, in Ripon, Beth Taylor will sing the alto soloist in Edward Elgar’s “Sea Pictures” with the St. Cecilia Orchestra under the musical direction of Xenophon Kelsey, as part of the Orchestra’s Spring Season. The program also features Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No.1 and Helena Munktell’s “Breaking Waves”.

In the last couple of years, the Scottish mezzo-soprano has become one of the most internationally renowned interpreters of Elgar’s evocative masterpiece.
