Beth Taylor makes her highly anticipated debut with the Los Angeles Philharmonic as alto soloist in Gustav Mahler’s monumental and cataclysmic Symphony No. 2 “Resurrection”. The performances, conducted by Gustavo Dudamel in his final season as Music and Artistic Director of the orchestra, take place on October 9, 10, and 11, 2025.
Just two weeks later, she joins the orchestra on its Asian tour, with appearances at the Seoul Arts Centre (Oct. 21), Tokyo’s Suntory Hall (Oct. 25), the National Concert Hall in Taiwan (Oct. 29), and the Taikang Cultural Centre (Oct. 30).
The Scottish mezzo-soprano has been swiftly establishing herself as a leading Mahler interpreter. Widely praised for her performances of the Resurrection Symphony with major ensembles—including the London Philharmonic Orchestra—she will return to the work later this season with the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra.
