Beth Taylor as The Queen in “Elias” at the Opéra de Lyon

On December 17, 2023, Beth Taylor makes her role debut as The Queen in Mendelssohn’s “Elias” at the Opéra de Lyon, in a production by Calixto Bieito and under the musical direction of Constantin Trinks, singing alongside Derek Welton in the title role, Tamara Banješević as The Widow, Kai Rüütel-Pajula as The Angel, Robert Lewis as Obadiah, Giulia Scoppelliti as Seraphin. There will be six additional performances on December 19, 21, 23, 27, 29; and January 1, 2024.
