Beth Taylor as “Messaggera” in Monteverdi’s Orfeo.

On November 14, Beth Taylor reprises the role of “Messaggera” (The Messenger) in Monteverdi’s seminal opera with the Gemelli Factory Ensemble, conducted by Emiliano Gonzalez Toro and semi-staged by Mathilde Etienne at the Sociedad Filarmónica de Bilbao.

Beth Taylor’s most recent interpretation of this emotionally powerful and dramatically pivotal role took place in the same production with Gemelli Factory Ensemble, conducted by Emiliano Gonzalez Toro last August at the Festival du Tuono in Vissoie, Switzerland.
