Krzysztof Lachman as Don Ramiro in „La Cenerentola“ in Dijon

Krzysztof Lachman makes his role and Opéra de Dijon debuts as Don Ramiro in Rossini’s “La Cenerentola” on November 4. The Polish tenor appears in all four performances of the company’s new production, directed by Mirabelle Ordinaire and conducted by Nil Venditti.

Don Ramiro joins a growing list of Rossini roles for Krzysztof Lachman, who has previously sung Aureliano in “Aureliano in Palmira,” the Count of Almaviva in “Il barbiere di Siviglia,” and the Count of Libenskof in “Il viaggio a Reims.” In Dijon, he is joined by Marine Chagnon as Angelina, Mikhail Timoshenko as Dandini, Vincenzo Taormina as Don Magnifico, and Valerio Morelli as Alidoro, with the Orchestre Dijon Bourgogne and the Dijon Opera Choir.

Further performances take place on November 6 and 10 at 8 p.m. and November 8 at 3 p.m.
