Beth Taylor in Mahler’s Symphony No. 8 with the Berliner Philharmoniker

Beth Taylor launches an exciting and event-filled 2026 in the grandest style, singing Mulier Samaritana in Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No. 8, often called the “Symphony of a Thousand” for its massive forces of soloists, chorus, and orchestra, with the Berliner Philharmoniker under the direction of Kirill Petrenko. The cast also includes Jacquelyn Wagner, Golda Schultz, Jasmin Delfs, Fleur Barron, Benjamin Bruns, Gihoon Kim, and Le Bu. The Scottish mezzo-soprano last appeared with the Berliner Philharmoniker just one month ago, in Bach’s Mass in B minor.
