Victoria Massey in Handel’s “The Messiah” in Halle

On March 22, 2025, Victoria Massey will sing the alto solo part in George Frideric Handel’s “The Messiah” in Händelhalle in Halle (Saale). Proinnsías O’Duinn will conduct the Staatskapelle Halle. Handel’s birthday has been celebrated at the Georg-Friedrich-Händel Halle on his birthplace, Halle an der Saale, since 2000. Every year, over 400 singers from all over the world come together to rehearse for three days, perform in concert, and enjoy a rich supporting program.

Equally at home on the operatic scene and in concert halls, Victoria Massey has long been recognized as one of the foremost interpreters of the Saxon composer’s most popular oratorio.
