Michael Spyres as the tenor soloist in Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 with Riccardo Muti conducting the Wiener Philharmoniker at the Musikverein in Vienna

On May 4, 5, 6, and 7, 2024, at the Musikverein in Vienna, Michael Spyres will sing the tenor soloist part in Ludwig van Beethoven’s Symphony No.9, with Riccardo Muti leading the Wiener Philharmoniker. He will sing alongside soprano Julia Kleiter, mezzo-soprano Marianne Crebassa and bass Günther Groissböck. These performances celebrate the two-hundredth anniversary of Beethoven’s masterpiece, which premiered in Vienna on May 7, 1824.
